I have a tool to share. It is free, easy to use and helpful for tracking accomplishments.
I like it because I don't like to write things by hand. I write my morning affirmations out by hand, but that is about it. I use this tool to track daily my accomplishments. I just type them up, click send and my journal is updated automatically. I can review what I did yesterday, a month or year ago.
The tool is called IDoneThis and is found at http://idonethis.com/.
Watch the video or read below for more details. There is no sound track with the video. Just a slide show to view.
I use IDoneThis to create a personal activity log, but it designed to work with team tracking, too. If your business has employees or team members you can even use this it to give you an update on daily, weekly and monthly accomplishments.
Benefits include that you can see what everyone has accomplished with a quick look at the team calendar. Use it to post anything. I can see where using it to document meeting notes would be very helpful and you always have log of that meeting.
When reviewing the IDoneThis calendar online you can click on any day to reflect back on what you did a week, month or year ago. Probably longer.
The tool sends a reminder every day via email. Mine comes around 6 pm, but you may be able to tweak the time. Once I receive my reminder email I just hit reply, document my accomplishments and hit send.
The updates are done automatically to a personal online calendar . Be sure to use an email address you monitor or the reminders are useless. You can also make updates or review from the web interface.
If you try IDoneThis, let me know what you think of it by leaving a comment.
